Business Mediation

Resolve business disputes efficiently and confidentially — with mediators who understand both the legal architecture of business agreements and the human dynamics that make them fail.

Business conflicts are almost never purely about money. Behind every partnership dispute is a breakdown in trust, a divergence in vision, or an accumulation of grievances that never got resolved. Left unaddressed, those dynamics don't just threaten your bottom line — they can destroy something you've spent years building, and damage relationships that extend well beyond the business itself. At Arch Mediators, we bring something most business mediators don't: direct experience as business owners and partners who have navigated the full range of what partnerships look like — the early optimism, the hard decisions, the moments of misalignment, and the painful restructurings. That experience is not incidental. It shapes how we listen, what we notice, and how we help parties find their way through. We also bring legal literacy — an understanding of how business agreements are structured, what makes them durable, and what courts actually do with these disputes — alongside clinical training in conflict de-escalation and high-stakes negotiation. The combination lets us work on both dimensions of a business dispute at once: the substantive and the relational.

We Can Help With

Our Approach

Addressing Both Substance and Relationship

We use an interest-based approach to business mediation — the same framework that underlies negotiation practice at the world's leading law schools and business schools, and the one most likely to produce agreements that actually hold. The core insight is simple but powerful: stated positions ('I want a buyout at X valuation' or 'I'm not signing anything until he's out') are rarely the whole story. Beneath every position are interests — what each party actually needs going forward. Financial security. Recognition. A clean exit. The ability to keep operating. Sometimes those interests are more compatible than the opening positions suggest. Our job is to help you find that ground. We don't evaluate the merits of your case or tell you what a court would do. We create the conditions for a negotiation that goes deeper than positional bargaining — and we manage the interpersonal dynamics that derail most business disputes before they ever get to substance. The result is agreements built on what you actually need, not just what you asked for first.
